The SX410 camera has an average built, which is neither compact nor too big. Some may even agree its size is perfect for a camera. We think this is the best-looking camera on our list. The dimensions are proportionate and practical, fitting comfortably in your hand. 

The soft textured plastic grip aids in firmly holding the camera. The camera buttons are minimal and well placed for your fingers to reach conveniently. And finally, the camera has a 3 inch 230k dot screen for higher screen resolution.

The primary attraction of this camera is its super 40X optical zoom. This range is one of the longest zooms for small SLR-type cameras. Additionally, you can carry it comfortably around your neck using the strap. Canon increased the CCD sensor in this model from 16 to 20MP. However, the picture quality remains the same. The camera has an Intelligent IS Optical Image Stabilization for stable photoshoots as per the scene. You have the option to shoot at 30fps or 25fps and 5X, 10X, and 20X speed. ECO Mode provides more shots in a single charge. However, the video quality is only 720p HD, which is quite disappointing. 

Battery

The SX410 IS uses the same NB-11H Lithium metal battery as the SX400 IS model. In a full charge, the camera will shoot up to 185 shots only. Although this camera has an ECO mode to lengthen the battery life, we still think the battery is still not sufficient for long video shooting. 

Connectivity

Canon PowerShot SX410 IS stores the videos and photos in an SD card. You can use a card reader to transfer or copy the files to other devices. Other than the SD card reading, this camera does not have any other option for connectivity, which is pretty disappointing from Canon.
